Application :

It is used as a hydrotrope and viscosity modifier in detergent formulations which helps in reducing viscosity of Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid (L.A.B.S).
This can be incorporated in Alpha Olefin Sulphonate (AOS) and linear alkyl benzene Sulphonate slurry at a concentration ranging from 3 - 5 % making the liquid formulation clear, more effective, cheaper and would make dry detergent powder, free flowing and crisp.
As anticaking and antiblocking agent in powdered products such as powder detergents.
To increase solid contents of products during liquid drying processes.
To improve detergent performance properties in washing.
As solubilizer, coupling agent and processing aids in detergent manufacture and other industrial processes.
It is capable of converting two phase system into homogeneous mixtures, lowering the ingredients, crystallization temperature and reducing the viscosity of liquid and complex formulations.
It gives excellent water tolerance to the detergent.
